But I feel like the license plate mount on the hyper will attract attention. I've heard the headlight is nicer and brighter on the scorpion. ![]() I've also heard that Juiced only responds well to phone calls. I've seen Ariel Rider horror stories of replacement parts taking months to arrive. I've heard good and bad things from both companies customer service. This may not matter for you depending on your situation, but I have to lift my bike up a flight of stairs. ![]() The juiced is 105lbs compared to the 70lbs of the x class. It's also legally more of a moped (in my area) based on wattage, and if you unlock it's top speed. The x class can't switch classes and modes easily. This way I have a bike that legitimately legally arrived as a 750w class 3 ebike, and is capable of unlocking into race mode for more. The Scorpion X and Hyperscorpion have supposedly the same 1000w retroblade motor, it's just called a 750w on the X. I'm leaning towards getting the Scorpion X, and installing a Hyperscorpion controller on it to boost the wattage and top speed in race mode. But I can't see myself convincing an officer an x class is 750w class 2, like the sticker says. It's lighter and faster than the scorpions. If laws didn't matter, I'd get the x class. I've been comparing the Hyperscorpion, scorpion X, and X52 for over a month now. All things electric bikes from motorcycles to pedal assist.
